Holiday Time....{North Dallas Photographer}

We are going on 24 straight days of 100+ temps. Its almost August and all I can think about is Holiday sessions!

This is one of my favorite(and most stressful) times of year. Parents begin to pick out matching outfits for their Christmas card photos and start thinking hot chocolate and crackling fires.

I start to channel Clark Griswald in "Christmas Vacation" and start thinking of ways I can out do the neighbors on holiday lights and outdoor decorations.  And preparing for all the festivities that occur after Labor Day.

As photographers we start booking for Holiday sessions in August(some over achievers start in July)
We want to make sure that you have plenty of time to get your images and order your cards before Aunt Ida brings over the first fruit cake of the season.

So if you are interested in a Holiday Session with Freckles, I suggest you book TODAY!
And to further entice you to do so, I am offering, for the next 24 hours(or really 25.5) 50% OFF any Holiday Session that is booked. So book your session before JULY 30th @ 12:00pm and you will receive 50% off your session fee.

(This does not include Maternity/Newborn, Senior or Birthday Sessions)

I have a ton of ideas floating through my head for Holiday Images... Cant wait to spring them on all my favorite beautiful people!

9 Months...{Cypress Child Photographer}

9 months goes by in a flash! This sweet boy is my first baby planner and I have looked forward to seeing him every 3 months. He has grown from a tiny newborn to a sweet and serious baby boy.

But I am so excited that I was able to get some shots of him laughing. Not just a smile, but big, shiny laugh out loud! (thanks "L" for the help with that one)

So here he is again, Mr C for all to see!

Oh The Places You'll Go.... {Magnolia Senior Portraits Photographer}

{beauty}

{humor}

{compassion}

{talent}

These are just the qualities I gathered from Miss Katelin in the short two hours we spent together. She was full of smiles and giggles and delighted that the session was all about HER!

You deserve it girl!

She wants to work in Equine Science and I know that she can succeed at anything she does. She is vibrant and full of life!

Good luck with your future Katlin! You are a shining star and have a very bright future!

Big, Bigger, Biggest......{McKinney Newborn Photography}

When you order wall prints for your living space or for a bedroom you want to draw the eye to that Life+Art. You chose to have that particular image for a reason, to show it off!

I know alot of people are visual people. I am the same way. You have to see it to believe it. I understand! So that is why I am going to show you.

The following is a beautiful 16x20 Canvas wrap.

It certainly does make a statement and it would look great on a small wall or as a grouping but as a centerpiece of a room it probably will get lost in the space.

This is a 36x48 image hanging in the dining room. I wanted to demonstrate the difference in size. Even in a room that is about 8x10.

So you can see how, even in a small room smaller art can be lost.

I have been shopping for inspiration and the following images have caught my eye.
Always an inspiration, Pottery Barn Kids
