Anticipating..........Houston TX Maternity Photographer

I was so excited to shoot this Maternity session. They took me out to the middle of nowhere and introduced me to Texas's very own garden of Eden. It was amazingly gorgeous! I want to take all my clients out there!

The way that J and T look at each other says it all! Anticipating their first child together, a boy they are overjoyed and it shows! J is the eternal optimist. He is so fun and excited about life! And have you ever seen a more smokin hot pregnant lady! Good thing J is a firefighter!(Oh yes I did)
I just adore these images! I couldnt decide which to post..so here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy your Sneak Peek!

Love Houston Engagement Photographer

I just love referrels! Everyone Wins!! I shot a maternity Session a few months ago for Mrs. C (here) And she referred Freckles Fotography to this lovely couple. Not only does Mrs. C get a $50 credit to be used towards her order(sweet deal, seriously) but her dear friends get a free 8x10 from their session! Talk about a win win! What an awesome friend! ;) So lets get to the goods. R & B enjoy your sneak peek!!

Cool story about this photo, When B was growing up in North Carolina, she used to visit the home of Carl Sandburg, which is a national Historical site. This stunning photo always stuck in her mind and she asked if we could recreate it. So I tried my best. B you look amazing!

A Very Special Newborn | Cypress TX Newborn Photographer

I had been looking forward to this session for a while. I did not know if the sweet baby would be a girl or boy. I did not know what it would look like. I did know, that whoever that baby was, he was loved already. My sweet friends K and J have been through the ringer and back trying to have a baby. They decided to adopt and after bumps in their road they got their little miracle.
Sweet Baby J was 10 days old when I photographed him. He is a very modest boy and didnt appreciate being naked, but all it took was the warmth from mom or dad to calm him down.
These images are some of my favorite. Enjoy your sneak peek K and J! And Congratulations!!

A sweet story about this image. The Adoption agency suggested that K & J sleep with this teddy bear so that while Baby J was in the hospital he could get use to his mom and dads scent. And the birth mother did the same with a recieving blanket. I just love what this image represents!

It takes 2! Cypress TX Childrens Photographer

They say it takes two to tango. I think they are right. And it doesnt just apply to dancing or the gutter that your mind is visiting right now! It took two times for Miss "M" to finally warm up to me. I am not sure if its because now she is approaching the big 2 or she just had alot of sugar? Either way I ll take it!
I met sweet Miss "M" for the first time last November. She was not lovin my big black thingy that I kept putting in her face while shouting at her to smile.( I obviously wasnt really shouting at her)and she made me work for ever bit of face time. I got some great shots and was glad that mom wanted to be in the images as well. This time around mom wanted "M" to be the star. That meant I had to work extra hard to get those smiles. By the second half of the session "M" was all about me! She loved taking pictures with my camera and seeing what she captured. She held my hand and we played chase. It was one of my favorite sessions to date!
Thank you so much "L" and "M" I had a blast and just adore you guys!
Enjoy your sneak peek!!

Fresh Cypress TX Newborn Photography

I was so excited about capturing this precious little boy. His mom and I had a blast during her maternity session (here). And I just knew his newborn session would be just as fun!
I walked into the “L” family’s home and was amazed at all the gorgeous light. Windows everywhere!! A natural light photographers dream!

Baby “L” was so fun to watch. He was a mover and a shaker and very shy when it came to being naked! Not to mention he was a sprayer! Dad got a nice little bath during his part of the session. But he was a trooper and we all had a laugh, (mom and I more than anyone). First rule of raising boys… cold air + a naked diaper area = a sprinkler

“L” family, thank you for inviting me into your home. Baby “L” is a handsome little man. Congratulations!

Enjoy your sneak peek.

9 Days New Houston Newborn Photographer

I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this sweet baby girl for a couple of months. Her gorgeous momma happens to be the subject of some of my favorite Maternity images EVER! You can check them out here.

Little Miss *A* didn’t want to miss a thing so she was a little hard to get to sleep. But once she finally fell asleep she was a breeze to mold and fold.

Grandma asked me who I thought she looked like. From the pictures I see a lot of her Daddy. But maybe just because I have known her daddy a long time and they seem to have similar facial expressions when they are pouting ;) I kid “N”!
“D” family, thank you so much for inviting me into your home again and for letting me get lots of newborn cuddles. Baby “A” is gorgeous! I look forward to watching her grow!

Why I love my job Houston Newborn Photographer

I love Newborn Sessions. They are my favorite by far. I love being invited into a clients home and the trust they give me with their new precious child. And I love how unpredictable newborns are. Check out this shot from this morning.
