{Houston Baby Photographer} *Santa Baby*

When it rains...it pours.. in Houston any way. I rescheduled with this family 2 times before we got the perfect weather. They were very understanding and I was so excited to be able to photograph them at their house..where they were comfortable. To have 3 acres in Houston is a big deal, but to have 3 acres with lots of trees..its pretty much unheard of. I actually had to search and search for the light..even though it was 1pm and bright and sunny. I finally found it under the most gorgeous tree.. Oh I would love to have trees in my yard that are taller than my 3 year old.. :( But I digress. The adoration for this sweet boy was oozing out of the parents. I hope I captured it like I saw it. It was so nice meeting you "F" family. Thank you for inviting me into your home. Enjoy your sneak peak.

LOVE This!

I just adore drooling babes in the woods.

{Houston Family Photographer} *Polka Dots*

WOW.. It has been a busy 10 days! I am finally coming up for air to blog.
This sweet family just oozes love. You may recongnize "J" from her maternity session here, or baby "M"s newborn portaits here. Needless to say they are one of my favorite families to photograph. Luckily this time we got Big Sis "E" in on the fun! I just loved photographing "E" she has such a unique look and the camera loves her!
We had recently had a lot of rain so the ground was a little moist, but we made due and everyone was in great spirits!
3 month old "M" even gave me lots of gummie smiles(my favorite kind)
Thanks "M" Family for letting me capture your family love! Enjoy your sneak peak!

{Spring Family Photographer} *Girls and Tutu's*

When the mom of these cutie patooties called me up and told me she had the most adorable tutu's and shirts that she wanted to have her girls photographed in, I was sold. I am a sucker for tutu's! So we headed out to old town Spring and had some fun. The weather couldnt have been more pefect. And did I mention how cute the Tutu's are!! Well you can see for yourself. Thanks Momma H, your girls are precious!

{Fairfield Family Photographer} *The bluest eyes...*

....and the greyest of skies. These two things go together like Apple pie and Blue Bell homemade vanilla ice cream. It rained for most of the day the day of this session and I was afraid that we were going to have to reschedule. In fact Mrs. L and I emailed back and forth wondering what we should do. The rain finally stopped about 2 hours before the session so I gave it the go ahead. Just as I was driving the 2 miles to my destination, it started raining again!! Shucks, now for sure I would have to cancel. But when I pulled up to the park it had stopped raining and the skies were a perfect overcast. (thank you God again for that ;))
Mrs. L had dressed the kiddos perfectly and the location was pretty spectacular as well.
The children were so well behaved and were obviously made to have their photograph taken!
Thanks L and R for letting me capture your beautiful family! It was a pleasure meeting you.
 Enjoy your sneak peak!

And one of my most favorite images I have ever captured! This reminds me of Alice in Wonderland.. so whimsical looking.

{Magnolia Family Photographer} *Sibling Rivalry*

When my sweet friend booked this session with me, I must say I was a bit scared. 3 grown boys, A daughter-in-law, 5 year old son and Mom and Dad. The pressure was on to be creative and think of something that would show their personalities. Luckily for me, you just had to ask them which college they attended and which was better to let the true colors fly.
Two are Aggies and one is a Longhorn.(I ll let you figure out which is which) I bet football season is fun in that household!!
I had a blast with you "S" family. Thank you for driving down and letting me capture your beautiful family! Enjoy your sneak peak!

{Houston Children's Photographer} *A Twin Surprise*

I have a new phrase, I say it all the time, way to often if you ask any of my over 30yr old  friends ;)
Its O*M*G.. I am not a fan of the Oh My GOD.. I think its a tad disrespectful...but I am a fan of the oh whats the word.. when its the first letters of each of the words?? Like you type in your emails.. you know you do it!  My 11th grade English teacher, Ms. Johnson would be so disappointed in me,  good thing I am a photographer and not an English teacher ;)(sorry for the runons and bad punctuation Ms. J.) Lets get back on track. I must have said "OMG" about a thousand times during this session. What other words could I possibly say to show my absolute adoration for the images I was capturing.. It started out with my sweet client(and dear friend) telling me she was watching her twin neices on Wednesday. So as a surprise, My dear friend and I played dress up and drug those children all over the middle of NOWHERE and took the following images! Enjoy!!

Cypress Family Photographer {Mommy and Me}

Energy is something you dont notice losing until you are put to the test chasing a strong, indepenendent 18 month old around. I am not sure if its because I recently hit 30(the prime of my life for all I am concerned) or if its a natural thing to ache all over after running after a child? Either way, Little M made me work for it..

If I was to put my photography style in a box, a category, I would call it Photojournalistic. This means that instead of the posing and the saying cheese, I prefer to chase 18 month olds around(what was I thinking) capturing them pick flowers, or throwing themselves on the ground in total discuss, or running as far away from the strange lady with a camera that keeps calling her name. This is what I love. Its real life and it happens fast.
Back to little Miss M . Boy did she keep me on my toes. Thats ok.. I need the exercise anyway. And by the way how gorgeous is Mom? The camera loves this lady.
I just loved this sessions and could eat up this little girl!

{Cypress Family Photograher} A few of my favorite people...

Very soon this family of three will be expanding doubly! So it was my pleasure to take their family of 3 portraits for them..Its important to remember these times.
This family is a huge part of my life for so many reasons. If it not had been for our sweet precious daughters we might have never met. Just 3 short months seperate these two but when they are together they are inseparable. I hope they are friends forever! Aside from the Uber cuteness of their princess...mom is due in March with boy/girl twins! ooohhh.. I cant wait for all the newborn squishyness!
Dad is also a photographer(no pressure right?)  I hope I did your beautiful family justice.. I heart you guys!
Enjoy!
