{Houston Newborn Photographer} 7 Days New....

About a month ago I did an amazing Maternity session with a fabulous friend(you can see the pics here)After a long year and a hard pregnancy princess "M" is finally here! Her parents could not be any more smitten with her. In fact while chatting it up with mom and hearing her story of adoration..tears began to well up in my eyes.. and I am not a crier!! Oh babies..they will do that to ya! I had a great time capturing "M". I have never seen a 36 weeker who was as wide awake as she was at just a week old. She will keep mom and dad on their toes for sure! Thank you Mom and Dad for letting me take over your living room..and your baby!! Here is a sneak peak.. {Cypress area Family Photographer} *LOVE*

The only thing I can say about the session from today..is LOVE! It describes how I feel about the images captured but most importantly the way that this family felt about eachother. They radiate love from every pixel of the photographs. I had so much fun playing with bugs and climbing things. {Houston Children's Photographer}Being 1 is fun!!

I had so much fun capturing sweet E. Despite the heat and humidity(and falling in the fountain) she never cryed or frowned even. This girl was fearless too!! I think 1 year olds are for sure my favorite age.. Thanks mom for trecking out to our side of the woods(sorta ;)) I cant wait for Sweet E's Birthday party!! Enjoy.

A Day with Family{Cypress Family Photographer}

Awww.. Sweet family.. Sunday we went a shootin with our dear friends(and cousin inlaws). It was a hot and steamy morning but we managed to have some fun. Deanna is a photographer as well and I wanted to get some shots for her photo blog. Not to mention the two generations of cousins who are also best friends.. My hubs and his cousin are besties as are our son and their son. Talk about adorable.

{Location, Location ,Location.} Cypress area Family Photographer

You know that old saying "location, Location, Location" Well it is true that Location is a major part of what I do. I want to be able to find different types of locations to bring out the best in your family and your children. A variety is key in this business. I don't think I would be able to let my creative juices flow if I shot the same area all the time and all different types of families looked the same in their pictures.. well..the people are different but the mood is the same. BORING! So me and the hubs and my favorite test subjects..aka the kiddos set out to add some more location to my portfolio. And here are the results!!!

Being a two year old is hard work. You never seem to get your way. No one understands you when you very clearly articulate your needs. And people always want to take pictures of you. Especially if you are as cute as Mr. "C".
Part of my job as your custom portrait photographer is even in the darkest pits of a temper tantrum or on the worse day possible, to bring out the best in your child.
Today's hour long Session with Mr. "C" was hard work but the moments captured are wonderful and fun and forever(unlike a toddler temper tantrum)
Big Sis "M" is the model subject. And by model I mean this girl has it down and should get paid for her cuteness!

Wednesday I trekked downtown to capture a future beauty queen. "Miss M" is applying for Miss Teen Texas and needed some headshots.
Oh to be 16 years old again. The giggles the silliness... I love working with teenage girls. All you have to do to get a smile is ask about boys. They just cant help but smile.

Momma J {Houston Maternity Photographer}

I had a fabulous time shooting Mrs J and her Hubby. They are such a fun couple and kept me laughing the whole time. Momma J is so easy going and was up for anything. It was so hard to choose only a few to display on the blog. I cant wait to shoot little Miss M's Newborn portraits when she finally arrives.
